Kids Academy emerged from our family’s journey in seeking high-quality care for working families in our community. We recognized the importance of outstanding care and early educational experiences that extend beyond mere play. With this goal in mind, we endeavored to create an environment where children could learn, grow, and be fully ready to achieve their milestones by kindergarten. We are confident that this can be accomplished through dedicated teachers and a thoughtfully designed curriculum that fosters learning and development.

Situated in the heart of Chicago’s Jefferson Park neighborhood, Kids Academy caters to children aged six weeks to four years old and beyond.

At Kids Academy, we prioritize high-quality education, exceptional teaching staff, and nutritious meals. Our philosophy centers on the comprehensive needs of each child, with educators applying developmentally appropriate practices to support intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth.

We appreciate the significance of play in child development, as it allows children to learn organically at their own pace, addressing different developmental needs and igniting intrinsic motivation. Our approach also balances structured learning with playful activities, paving the way for more profound learning experiences.

To prepare children for school, we align our curriculum with the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Developed collaboratively by our director and teachers, the curriculum incorporates children’s interests. It emphasizes crucial learning domains, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical health and development, the arts, English language learning, and social/emotional growth.

As a family-operated center, we take pride in adhering to the ethical guidelines established by the NAEYC Code of Conduct, nurturing a safe, respectful, and enriching environment for every child.
